After an hour, I ended up turning the music off altogether and just scrolled along in silence. There's no option to skip tracks or import music from my computer, which you could do on Madden 08, ten years ago. I guess if I were a huge fan of hip hop, that wouldn't be a problem, but I'm not. Everything else is a broken mess of missing features and linear game design- *The stuttering audio and wonky frame rate I got when I installed it made it almost impossible to play- I spent twenty minutes on forums before I found the answer (you have to unlock the frame rate and turn off V-Sync, simple enough), but why did the game release like that? Didn't anyone test it? *You can't change the music. But this game is an example of how polished graphics don't translate into a good user experience without a good game underneath them. I'm a guy who wasted his youth playing the games from the XBOX era and graphics don't mean a whole lot to me, but they do look good. The animations are nice and the presentation looks very modern. But the more I played, the more the nagging doubts kept cropping up, the more the key features I'd enjoyed from previous titles became conspicuous in their absence. I loaded it up on my computer and sat down to relive some old memories. When EA finally released a new NFL game for the PC, I had to have it. I loaded it up on my computer and sat All Flash, No Substance I really wanted to like Madden 19.
